Description
Dinosaurs, Cowboys, Pirates and Spacemen"
Surrey Brass perform a varied programme of film music on 1st November 2008 at St Peters Church, Burwood Road, Hersham, Surrey KT12 4AA. After concerts in the two previous years at Hersham, Surrey Brass are delighted to be invited back to perform a popular programme of your favourite film music, guaranteed to have you entertained! The programme features old favourites and many brand new arrangements of great music made specially for this concert. Film music is very well suited to brass with its huge range of dynamic contrasts, changing tone colours, and occasional need for sheer power. Surrey Brass complements the instrumentation in this show with a sophisticated percussion section and keyboards, including the church organ!
This is the first Surrey Brass concert to be directed by Andy Grimwood.
We also feature our multi-talented tuba player and organist Adrian Warren.
