The Surrey Brass Quintet perform an innovative and entertaining programme of music, spanning Baroque to Jazz and beyond.

We always try hard to choose music to appeal to everyone and this time we may well have succeeded!

This concert features a mix of Baroque, Renaissance, Classical and Romantic music together with Film music, Jazz and Popular music. The idea is to show off the versatility of the Brass Quintet and to provide an varied programme to satisfy many musical tastes.  Everything on the programme is very accessible.

Some of the pieces will be very familiar to you. We hope you will make more than one interesting discovery and may in time become good friends with some of the less well known pieces. In between the musical numbers, members of the ensemble will give short talks about the music, brass playing, brass instruments and related subjects which we hope will add a new perspective.
