Age Concern Epsom & Ewell logoBrass Spectacular in aid of Age Concern Epsom & Ewell

7:30pm Saturday 20th October 2020

The Main Hall

Epsom College, College Road, Epsom, Surrey KT17 4JH UK - View Map

About the Concert

Surrey Brass is particularly enthusiastic about being invited for a third time to help raise funds for Age Concern Epsom and Ewell, following two sell-out concerts in April and October 2016

Please come to our third collaborative concert, to enjoy great music, a friendly social atmosphere and (we very much hope) our soon-to-be-legendary Gin Bar at the interval, and of course the opportunity to help raise significant funds for the Charity!

Tonight's concert will be conducted by Robin Smith

Musical Programme

The musical programme is currently under development.

We are sure that our customary mix of classics, jazz, film music, and solo features drawn from many styles, places, and times will provide a highly varied and enjoyable programme, which is carefully chosen to include something to please everyone.

Please join the Surrey Brass Mailing List to ensure you are notified with news and updates about this concert.

About the Charity

Age Concern Epsom & Ewell is a local independent charity established in 1947 to empower older people in the Borough of Epsom & Ewell to live the most fulfilling lives they can.

As well as providing a free and confidential Information and Advice Service, we also run a number of other services from transport to befrienders; none of which would be possible without our team of wonderful volunteers.

About Surrey Brass

Surrey Brass, the innovative and entertaining brass ensemble aims to develop the fine tradition of ensemble brass performance originated by the internationally famous Philip Jones Brass Ensemble, by widening the audience for brass ensemble music, enlarging the repertoire, and providing enjoyment for everyone.  Our talented musicians include the best semi-professional players in Surrey, UK. We are particularly keen on encouraging young brass players and every year perform at least one concert involving them - hopefully some will join us in future.
