Charity Variety Show supporting Tenovus and Friends of The Royal Marsden, Surrey

6:00pm Sunday 16th September 2018

Epsom Playhouse, 42 Ashley Ave, Epsom KT18 5AL

In a hugely varied and enormously fun show featuring (no less!) a pop duo, an opera singer, a musical comedian, a pianist and singer, Surrey Brass and more, each will provide around 20 minutes of entertainment for this worthy cause.  This show, organised by local actor and retired policeman Bob Ferris, raised over £2700 last year in a local village hall and inspired by this success he has made this year's event twice as large, and would like to raise four times as much money.
All performers are providing their services completely free of charge to support this fundraising effort.  Come along, enjoy the show and help us raise money for a hugely worthwhile cause.

**Concert Update - the final figure raised by this event was £5,600 **

Supporting Friends of The Royal Marsden, Surrey, and Tenovus.

Musical Programme

This concert is the perfect way for the whole family to round off the week before Christmas! .

In this inspiring and historic church in the very heart of Guildford, Surrey Brass and Harlequin Chamber Choir will perform a varied programme of music that will inspire, excite and provide traditional seasonal comfort. You never know quite what to expect from Surrey Brass - a carefully chosen mix of historic, popular and most unusual Christmas music for brass is definitely on the programme, but to discover exactly what it is, you'll have to buy a ticket!

Harlequin Chamber choir have the power to move the soul with their brilliant musicianship which makes you want to jump for joy one moment and hold your breath the next. Truly choral singing at its very best.

Tillingbourne School Children's Choir were so immensely popular at last year's concert we are pleased to announce they will be appearing once more, with their talented, energetic and original renditions of Carols and Christmas music you might not have heard before. Inspiring musicians for the future.

We shall join forces to bring you some spectacular Christmas music as well as involving everyone in singing the favourite carols that everyone knows so well. Last year's concert was performed to a full church and the performance was greeted by such enthusiastic applause and support, it simply had to be repeated.
